Riftbound Radiance reveals and Legacy Booster Display guide

Riftbound Legacy Booster Display collector roadmap after the Radiance previews

Riftbound preview season is showing where the game’s sealed-product design is headed. Radiance arrives October 23, 2026 with Deploy, Show Off, Disarm, an Ultimate Rare, Heartsteel Overnumbers, and new product formats. Legacy follows on January 29, 2027 with revised pack construction and a much larger Showcase lineup.

This collector roadmap separates confirmed facts from speculation and explains what today’s Radiance reveals can teach buyers considering the current Legacy Booster Display preorder.

Riftbound Radiance collector highlights

Riot’s official Radiance overview confirms a performance-themed set, new mechanics, and nine new Legends represented as Overnumber variants, with artist-signature versions also possible. The official pack breakdown also makes an important distinction: an Ultimate Rare is not guaranteed in a pack, display, or case.

What the Radiance pack structure says

Each Radiance pack is officially listed with seven commons, three uncommons, one foil slot, one rare or epic, one high-ceiling slot, one token/rune slot, and an insert. Riot estimates the Ultimate Rare across the full print run at approximately 0.025% of booster packs. That is an average, not a promise to any buyer.

The useful buying lesson is simple: shop sealed product for the set experience, drafting, deck building, and the complete range of possible treatments—not around a guaranteed top hit.

Legacy changes the box-opening story

The active Legacy Booster Display preorder is a separate future set. Its store listing identifies a 346-card set with 93 Showcase cards and a draft-first booster structure. Each sealed display includes:

  • Guaranteed: 24 English-language Legacy booster packs.
  • Guaranteed: 14 randomized cards per pack.
  • Per-pack listed structure: six commons, three uncommons, one Battlefield or Legend, one foil, two rares or better, two runes or tokens, and one insert slot.

Legacy’s announced champion lineup includes Ashe, Garen, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Karma, Lux, Tryndamere, and Vladimir. Those names are set participants, not guaranteed pulls in an individual display.

Collector decision: Radiance now or Legacy later?

  • Follow Radiance if Heartsteel, musical themes, Overnumbers, and new mechanics are your priority.
  • Preorder Legacy if you want the next draft-focused booster display, the expanded Showcase pool, and the confirmed champion roster.
  • Wait for more previews if your choice depends on specific card art or a deck archetype. That is a valid collector strategy.
