Wizards does not label every premium card a “chase,” so we will not pretend it does. What Wizards does verify is that the set has several collector-focused treatments, including some that are exclusive to Collector Boosters.
Smaug the Magnificent — Glittering Gold Headliner
The standout is Smaug the Magnificent in the Glittering Gold headliner treatment. Wizards says approximately 500 copies will be printed worldwide and that this version appears only in Collector Boosters. The Gift Bundle includes one Collector Booster, which means it provides an opportunity to open Collector Booster-exclusive treatments, but no specific card or treatment is guaranteed.
Dwarvish Language Cards
Wizards confirms five Dwarvish-language cards, including revealed examples such as The Reaver Cleaver and Mox Amber. These are Collector Booster exclusives and are always printed in Dwarvish.
Surge Foil Book Cover Cards
The Hobbit’s book cover cards use stylized artwork inspired by the novel. Non-foil and traditional foil versions can appear in Play and Collector Boosters, while surge foil book cover cards are exclusive to Collector Boosters.
Dragon Hoard Cards
The Dragon hoard frame is inspired by Smaug’s treasure. Wizards has previewed cards including Desolation of Smaug and Sting, Bilbo’s Sword. Non-foil and traditional foil versions can appear in Play and Collector Boosters; surge foil Dragon hoard cards appear only in Collector Boosters.

Four Surge Foil Seasonal Hobbit Lands Are Already in the Box
You do not have to pull these four from the included booster. Wizards confirms every Gift Bundle contains four surge foil full-art Seasonal Hobbit basic lands, one of each Seasonal Hobbit land. These are a fixed Gift Bundle highlight rather than a randomized chase.
Why the Gift Bundle Is Different From the Standard Bundle
